Dog Face is part-sketch show part-animation from the makers of Peep Show. Matt King (Superhans from Peep Show) plays a host of characters including The Subtitler who types words for foreign films and is more interested in writing the details of his latest argument with Dave Turner who ‘stole his girlfriend'. Jo Neary is Bollock Chops in a Mike Leigh-inspired sketch, and Catherine Shepherd plays The Weather Girl who has a hard time keeping her personal life out of the weather forecast. The series also stars Kevin Bishop (Star Stories).
Plus there's animated dogs who hang out in their local pub discussing diverse topics such as women, strippers, being frightened of women and ‘birds'. Writers include Bert Tyler Moore and George Jefferies (Star Stories), and Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (Peep Show).
