[b][color=#ff0000]Beauty[/color][/b] and [b][color=#ff0000]the[/color][/b] geek 是一档真人秀，geek们其实也不是小丑，他们甚至可以算得上是另类天才（魔方冠军，MIT高材生等），不过都是社交白痴而已。[b][color=#ff0000]Beauty[/color][/b]们则除了漂亮，还必须也有些白痴，是只会吃喝玩乐的美人。游戏的大致规则就是男女配对，互相帮助，像生产合作组，力求最好成绩。geek们要学会办派对，跳舞，约会；[b][color=#ff0000]Beauty[/color][/b]们则要上台演讲，拼装电脑以及改造她们的男伴。所有不可能之任务全要被一一完成，为了25万美金的高额悬赏。
极客们要努力使美女们有一个像自己聪明的大脑，而美女们则要负责改变极客们的书呆子形象，两两配对，捉对挑战，最终在美女和极客当中分别会有一个胜出者赢得冠军的荣誉和25万美金的奖赏！
7男7女来玩对对配，女孩都是胸大无脑的美女，男孩则是IQ高、EQ低的书呆子。这7对男女随机搭配后将进行一场综合能力的竞赛，包括智力、时尚，甚至舞蹈。女孩子将参加拼字比赛会，男孩们将接受按摩课培训。第一季中女孩甚至还要由火箭专家上课，看谁能造出一艘能成功发射的小火箭。比赛中，男女要互相帮助，共度难关。每天比赛的最后一名将被淘汰，最终的获胜者将赢取25万美元。对参赛者来说，重要的不仅仅是25万美元的奖金，而是通过比赛，互相配合，形成默契，成为真正男才女貌的一对。

[b][color=#ff0000]Beauty[/color][/b] and [b][color=#ff0000]the[/color][/b] [b][color=#ff0000]Geek[/color][/b] is Ashton Kutcher's social experiment, which tested if seven beautiful women could work with seven intelligent men to become a whole lot more. At [b][color=#ff0000]the[/color][/b] end of its first season, which filmed in December in California, and premiered in June of 2005, [b][color=#ff0000]the[/color][/b] men and women involved came out better people - more confident, and more accepting.
